Museum Collections
We are currently collecting artifacts and archival material that will help tell the complex story of the Stockton House, including all of those who have lived and worked within the home. With your help we can continue to expand our exhibits to educate the community on this historic home, hospital, and nursing home. If you are interested in donating objects and/or archival material, please fill out the Donation Proposal Form below.
The Stockton House Museum is seeking to collect objects and material relating to the following:
The Stockton Family of Flint
16th Michigan Infantry Regiment
The Flint Ladies Library Association
St. Joseph Hospital 1921-1936
Hynds Convalescent Home 1943-1951
Kith Haven Nursing Home 1951-1970
Cecilia Home for the Aged 1970-1983
Stockton House 1983-1996
Donation Proposal Forms will be looked over by the Curator and Acquisitions Committee to determine if the possible donation will fit into our museum’s scope. Upon accepting the request, the donor will be contacted by the Curator to coordinate further. If you wish to donate, please do not leave objects at our door or with volunteers. That is considered abandoned property and can result in the destruction of said objects.
